On Saturday, February 1, 2025 Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman unveiled a historic 8th consecutive Union Budget.
Her budget presentation on February 1 coincided with a slowing down of the economy and demand for tax cuts for the middle class, therefore closer her toward the record of 10 budgets put forth by former Prime Minister Morarji Desai across many years.
