Nawazuddin pursued employment as a chemist subsequent to his graduation from science before relocating to Delhi. He was employed as a watchman at an office and subsequently began to watch plays. Subsequently, he pursued his passion for theater and became a member of the Sakshi Theatre Group, where he collaborated with actors such as Saurabh Shukla and Manoj Bajpayee.
