About pan-Indian films, Anurag stated the following:
Anurag stated during the conversation, “In my opinion, ‘Pan-India’ is a substantial swindle.” Production of a film typically lasts between three and four years. Numerous individuals are subsisting on that film, and their lifestyles are also contingent upon it. The entirety of the funds is not allocated to the film. The funds that are allocated are allocated to these large, artificial sets that are illogical. Additionally, only one percent of it functions properly.
‘KGF achieved achievement, and there is a desire among all individuals to replicate it.’
He continued by stating, “Uri: The Surgical Strike was a resounding success, and as a result, people began to produce nationalistic films.” Following the success of Baahubali, there was a widespread desire to produce big-budget films featuring Prabhas or another character. Everyone aspires to replicate KGF’s success. That is the point at which the decline of storytelling commences.
Pan-Indian films are films that are released and marketed in multiple languages throughout India, such as Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and others, for those who are unfamiliar with the term. The concept acquired popularity following the success of Baahubali in 2015. Pushpa 2: The Rule, which starred Allu Arjun, was the most recent pan-India film to achieve tremendous success at the box office.
Kennedy, Anurag’s most recent directorial effort, has yet to be scheduled for release in India. He was most recently represented in the films Viduthalai Part 2 and Rifle Club as an actor.
