Washington: Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel will become the first Indian-origin FBI Director after the Republican-controlled US Senate voted 51-49 on Thursday.

According to Dan Scavino, Assistant to the President and White House Deputy Chief of Staff, US President Donald Trump has signed the commission to confirm Kash Patel as the ninth FBI Director.
